Our first weekend in Peterborough

And this was our first post from Peterborough! It is always fun to look back and see how far we have come. I am reminded of the TS Elliot poem, The Waste Land and the quote
We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.

We have had Imagea great weekend, being welcomed by some lovely Arrowsmith mums who took us around Peterborough, going to visit the school, had a long chat with the Principal, met Simon’s teacher and class. They picked us up and took us out for dinner in a great little café, Carpe Diem. We faded quite early and then made our way back to our rather quirky apartment! We had a busy Saturday with a lovely walk along the lake to the farmer’s market, bought lots of goodies, then out to a “pot luck” dinner and met more Arrowsmith families. Simon enjoyed swimming with some of the other students. We have more photos but I have to work out how to put in more than one! (I have never worked that out!).
